My Background
I am a Non-Fiction author with a passion for uncovering the fascinating stories of individuals and the rich tapestry of local history and events. Through my writing, I aim to captivate readers with compelling narratives that shed light on the lesser-known aspects of our world.
I was born in North London and educated in Hove, Sussex, and London. After many years of travelling around the world and setting up and managing new branches for a holiday tour company, I returned to England in the 1970s. As a lifelong philatelist, in 1985, I moved with my family to Eastbourne, East Sussex, and opened an online and retail stamp shop. Writing poetry and short stories, rekindled an interest in history and Sussex.

​​An excellent book on a much-ignored aspect of the American Revolution, namely the fate of those who chose to remain loyal to the King. Philip Van Cortlandt lost almost everything he had by choosing the losing side, but this book shows how he survived and eventually built a new life in Britain. It’s a story well worth telling and well researched by the author.
